Well i just want to do an appreciation post to my current staff members
Firsty il mention the labourer
Last week was hes full first week and if you remember I mentioned him last week and said I think weve found a proper man , hes been in this week again not missed a Beat , up and out the door straight in no messing no wasting my time when hes in , straight on the graft and just keeps on working all day , keeps the yard tidy assists my 2 drivers and myself all day long , hes sharp , hes a fast learner and he doesnt talk a load of crap
Hes a good man, a good labourer is super important in this sector of work and just turning up all the time is a task within its self for majority of labourers, well this one's cut from different cloth
Old school cloth just like myself and these other 2 im guna mention
Driver 1
Hes been with me nearly 17 months now
Hes had 1 day absent in that time frame, also in
that time hes wage has increased by 30 percent, when he come to my there was quite a bit of learning for him to undertake , hes had a lot to learn as hes basically a mimic of myself so weve had to train him up good and proper, but credit due were credit is due , hes soaked it all up and come along way hence hes wage now reflecting hes worth ,, hes a cracking fella grafts hes ass off and does alot of hours each week , he even had a little smash and he hasn't ran of , hes taking a slight deduction in hes wage briefly just to pay to put the truck right etc and hes stuck to hes word he said you was good enough to take me on and good enough to teach me and good enough to put me on proper money so il hold out and slog on even during a few worse weeks pay due to a smash etc and then get back to the good weeks
Il be honest alot of men would spit there dummy out and left , again hes a proper man and cut from old school cloth
Driver 2
He came to me 3 months ago , he hasn't had a single day off. hes work ethic is very good hes self judgement at jobs and self assessment before he carries out any operation is always bang on and hes attitude and just self worth is bang onn
If he says hes in he be in , if he says he can do - he will do again proper fella cut from old school cloth
And then there little old nagging me
Haha im just me I get stuck in with these boys and value myself no more than them
I shift s**te all day do some good jobs then swap over let the lads all share the good jobs whilst I graft doing the s**t jobs , its called been part of the team and called not standing on my own perch thinking , hang on im not doing this or that anymore ive got these to do that , theres none of that round here
Im just humble to be able to say at last weve got a strong team , 2 drivers 3 Including myself and we all turn into labouers for a few hours a day and a genuine labourer, we all get on we all help each other daily we all have a natter and go home
I dont need to be waking anyone or wiping there asses or reminding them that if there a no show they wont have a job for long etc etc
