🔨 Designed for transport. Built for the job.

📲 We recently had the opportunity to manufacture a bespoke flight case for a customer in the media & entertainment sector, designed specifically to transport and use their SQ-5 Digital Mixer on site.

The brief was clear: the mixer needed to be protected during transport, secure inside the case, but still ready to use as soon as the lid was removed. 💡

To achieve this, we designed the case with a shallow base, allowing the mixer to remain safely seated in position while being operated, without having to remove it from the case.

The lid was then designed around the mixer, with carefully positioned foam packing to hold the equipment securely in place during transport, preventing movement while still allowing quick access when on site.

The final requirement was just as important — the case needed to fit in with the customer's existing colour scheme, Green lid, making it easy to identify their equipment when working on busy sites alongside other production equipment.

A great example of how a bespoke case isn't just about protecting equipment — it's about understanding how the equipment is transported, stored and actually used.

❗️One case became two – without compromising on protection, storage or presentation.

We recently worked with a customer who needed us to redesign their existing case and inserts, taking items from one case and splitting it across two.

The main objective was simple: make the case easier and lighter to carry. ✅
But there were a few requirements we needed to achieve:

1.Same footprint – both cases needed to have the same footprint so they could be safely stacked, even though one case needed to be taller to accommodate the items inside.

2.Match the existing cases – blue boards, silver trim and the customer's logo in white on the lid.

3.Branded interior – the logo was also incorporated into lid foam with blue font.

4.Make better use of the space – while redesigning the inserts, we took the opportunity to review how the equipment was being used. This allowed the customer remove pockets that were no longer required and create additional space for more sample bottles.

💡 The result is a pair of cases that are lighter, easier to handle and better suited to the customer's current requirements, while still matching their existing cases and maintaining safe, stackable storage.

It's always worth reassessing a case when the contents or requirements change. Sometimes a redesign isn't just about making a new insert – it's an opportunity to make the whole solution work better. 📈

❗ Protecting a product doesn't mean compromising on presentation.

Recently, we were asked by a customer to create a custom protective case for a 3D model. The brief was clear: the case needed to provide excellent protection during storage and transport while also reflecting the customer's brand colours and presenting the model professionally.

Our process began by creating a detailed 3D concept, allowing the customer to visualise the finished product before manufacturing started. This gave them the opportunity to review the design, confirm the layout, and ensure every detail met their requirements.

Once approved, we manufactured the case exactly to specification, producing a solution that combines durability, precision, and a professional finish.

Every project is different, and that's what makes custom manufacturing so rewarding. By working closely with our customers from concept through to production, we can create protective packaging solutions that not only safeguard valuable equipment but also make a great first impression.
