The annual Oxford and Cambridge University ski trip, the world’s largest and oldest trip of its kind Varsity Trip 2022 is coming soon! 2nd - 10th December 2022.

Varsity Trip is the annual ski and snowboard trip organised by, and for, Oxbridge students. Founded in 1922 to facilitate the blues ski races between Oxford and Cambridge University the event has become the largest student run snowsports event in the world. Taking over 3000 students to the Alps, Varsity Trip has become more than the average ski trip. Known for its festival style parties and on the mountain apres ski, Varsity Trip has held host to a number of internationally renowned acts including Tinie Tempah, Calvin Harris, DJ Fresh and Bondax. Skiers and snowboarders of all levels attend the trip with up to a third of participants being complete beginners. In recent years the destinations of the trip have included Val Thorens, Tignes and Val d'Isère. Varsity Trip gives the opportunity to attend an incredible week of snowsports, competitions and events, all at student prices.

Flight codes for second release are now at capacity, all remaining flight codes have been sent out. If you have received a flight code, please secure your place before the deadline of the 29th September!

FIRST RELEASE SOLD OUT IN TEN SECONDS!

Wow, you guys went crazy! 750 spots sold in 10 seconds! Varsity Trip 2026 is going to be huge. If you missed out, don’t worry! We have a second release of tickets on 07/10/26, and a third release on 19/10/26. To guarantee a Second Release ticket (£419 base price), book your flights now.

We recommend booking your flights as soon as possible to get the best prices! Once you’ve booked, fill in the flight code form in our bio with the details of your reservation. You will be sent an early booking code within 72 hours of filling out the form. This code must be used to book onto the trip through the NUCO booking site prior to 29th September 2026. Filling out the form alone is not enough to secure your place!

If you plan on taking the coach, no need to fill the form - you may select a coach on the NUCO booking page when you book on second release.

We will send the early booking codes within 72 hours of form submission. Then you can go ahead and book your second release ticket with a £150 deposit!

TRANSPORT INFORMATION

We recommend two ways to travel to Val Thorens:
- Flights + Transfers: to be booked yourselves, with NUCO transfers taking you from the airport to Val Thorens
- Coach: from London/ Oxford/ Cambridge, to be booked on the NUCO booking page

Flights should be booked on the 5th and 12th of December. NUCO will be running transfers from Geneva, Lyon, Turin and Grenoble, at the times specified above. We recommend booking an earlier flight (before 13:55 transfer departure) to collect your ski rentals on the same day.

Coach will be available to book on the NUCO booking page, once you have put your £150 deposit down.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR A LEVEL RESULTS!

We are looking forwards to welcoming you to Oxford and Cambridge, and would love for you to join us on the 104th annual Varsity Trip!

Varsity Trip is the oldest, largest and cheapest student ski trip! Every year we take 2500+ students to the Alps - returning this year to Val Thorens! The trip is perfectly timed at the end of your first Michaelmas term - what better way to end it than skiing world-class pistes, boogying at après and unwinding with your new friends in a beautiful setting?!

If you’re a beginner - don’t worry! Varsity Trip is organised with beginners AND experienced skiers in mind: last year, 1000 people had never skied before. Varsity Trip is a great place to learn, and there’s plenty of exciting non-skiing activities too.

To find your college specific Varsity Trip account, head to our website, click on Meet the Team, and there will be a link to all college Varsity Trip Facebook and Instagram pages. Feel free to contact your college rep, too - they’d love to hear from you!

This post contains information on how to book Varsity Trip.

On the day of first release (20/08/26) at midday you can book onto the trip. Once you have paid your deposit, we recommend selecting your accommodation tier and preferred transport options ASAP (you must click CONFIRM EXTRAS to secure these) as spots are limited.

For those travelling in groups, make sure you select the same accommodation tier as your friends if you wish to stay together.

ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

First release lets you pick your accommodation before the crowds! Higher accommodation tiers will sell out fast, so make sure you select them quickly, as the trip will sell out.

Friends must all pick the same accommodation tier to stay together.
