Chalet des Etoiles

Today is the last day of Alpine Chalet Weekends after 13 years of welcoming hundreds of lovely guests to Chalet des Etoiles. We are truly retired from now on.
Larry and I would like to thank all the guests who've taken holidays with us, many of whom have returned time and time again and have become friends. Thanks also to the wonderful guys who keep our mountains safe winter and summer, allowing us to enjoy the many sports they afford. Not forgetting all the wonderful restaurants, ski schools, fellow chalet owners, medical centres, shops, ski hire and transfer businesses who all contribute to the success of our beautiful resort. We aren't going anywhere and Chalet des Etoiles will now become our main residence. Good luck to all and we hope that when life returns to normal, our neighbourhood, that relies on tourism will pick up where it left off unscathed. Bon courage and stay safe . Janet and Larry x

A very busy and sunny February is drawing to a close and the snow has returned with at least a week of snowfalls on the forecast. Looking forward to skiing in the powder.

Snow falls forecast for the week ahead! We still have availability for luxury long weekends at Chalet des Etoiles as follows:

11th,18th January
1st, 8th, 22nd February
14th, 21st, 28th March

These dates are the Saturdays. You can stay between Thursday and Tuesday from 3 to 5 nights.Minimum group size 6 maximum 8.

Winter Season 2018/19 officially over. It's been the most amazing with record snow falls and beautiful sunshine. Thank you to all the pisteurs, piste bashers, lifties, paramedics, police, restaurants for keeping us safe and well fed and feeling welcome on the slopes in our beautiful resort of Portes du Soleil. enjoy the summer whatever you may be doing.

4 more days to go!!

BIG NEWS as we head into the final weekend of the season! Avoriaz 1800 has a greater snow depth than any other ski resort in France, with a whopping 310cm on the upper slopes. 👏👏👏 to Avoriaz Snowzone and everyone else working hard to maintain the snow!

Morzine/Les Gets last day of the season with amazing snow conditions and very few people. Millionaire skiing today. We had Chamoisiere completely to ourselves. One more week to go now in Avoriaz, Chatel and Les Crosets. Taking bookings for next winter already.

Photo taken above Morgins in Switzerland on 5th April. Possibly the best snow conditions of the whole season. We certainly enjoyed the powder that day! Great little restaurant with stunning views of les Dents du Midi.
