🚨 WH286 — Singapore Airlines’ first 777-9 — is scheduled to ferry to Marana on July 31 after completing functional testing.

The aircraft will undergo HIRF (High Intensity Radiated Fields) testing, which ensures the jet’s systems remain stable under intense electromagnetic radiation. ⚡✈️

This marks another key step in the 777X’s path to certification.

🚨It’s happening. first 777-9 (WH286, line 1723) has officially hit the flightline in Everett! The jet is expected to receive its experimental certification on July 15, with a B1 flight scheduled for July 21.

This marks a major milestone — WH286 will be the first Singapore 777X to fly, and the fifth 777-9 to enter flight testing overall.

This phase pushes the engine through simulated desert conditions to ensure long-term durability in harsh ops, especially for key customers in the Middle East 🌪️🔥

✅ 1,600+ dust cycles already cleared
✅ Over 27,000 simulated flight cycles
✅ Real-world dust, lab-controlled

GE wants this engine ready before it enters service — a first in its history.

🚨 It’s official: the Boeing 777X won’t be flying at this year’s Paris Air Show. But don’t worry, you’ll still get to step inside the future. 👀✈️

At Boeing Pavilion C-2, visitors can explore a full-size 777X cabin section and the 777-8 Freighter immersive theater, showcasing the jet’s next-gen architecture, interior space, and future cargo capability.

📅 Media tours of the 777X cabin and freighter theater are scheduled for:
• June 16, 17 & 19 at 11:00 a.m.
• June 18 at 9:00 a.m.

🛫 Static aircraft displays will include:
• Qatar Airways 777-300ER in PSG livery
• CH-47 Chinook
• KC-46 Pegasus
• P-8 Poseidon
• F-15 Eagle
• Wisk Aero’s 6th-gen all-electric autonomous air taxi 🛸
