Department: Customer Service
Reporting to: Customer service Manager
Salary: As per candidate profile

Job purpose:
Closely working attached to the Customer Service Team, the target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction correlated with the warehouse team.

Full training period assist as per our core business, our clients and company IT tools will be given.
Working place will be in warehouse in Yuen Long and office in Kwai Chung, Hong Kong.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Attached to the Customer Service Team : daily communication, follow-up and reporting between customers, our warehouse team in order to make sure that everybody is on the same understanding about logistics operations in term of productivity, priority, organization.

2. Inbound/outbound management and follow-up using company IT tools (PO management).

3. Coordination work within all parties as warehouse, client and freight forwarder to execute correctly and in a time frame sequence all logistics appointment : inbound/outbound

4. Customer consulting

5. Clients activity reporting to the Customer Service Team and the Logistics Warehouse Supervisor in order to planify the warehouse activity in daily basis and follow-up.

6. Handle Import/Export Customs declaration though Tradelink system, Re-Export Certificate of Origine, CITES certification as per our clients requirements.

7. Update SC2 documentation as marketing support, communication tools, SOP, training etc.

8. Any ad-hoc duties upon required

Requirements:
• Cantonese, Mandarin and English command (speaking, reading)
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Good command in MS office application

Herport China Limited has successfully obtained the Hong Kong Service Supplier Certification (HKSS Certificate # 0003126-01) meeting the standard as stipulated in CEPA and the Agreement on Trade in Service.

Being certified HKSS, Herport will benefit current and future prerogatives of the CEPA provisions and agreements.

The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) today (10th March) announced that airlines will be allowed to resume the levying of a CARGO FUEL SURCHARGE for flights originating from Hong Kong from April 1, 2017 onwards.

Since the temporary suspension of fuel surcharges in early 2016, HKCAD has been monitoring the movements of fuel prices and reviewing the regulation on fuel surcharges and has engaged a consultant to conduct a consultancy study on the regulation of fuel surcharges. Based on the initial findings of HKCAD's consultant, it is noted that there is a global trend of deregulating fuel surcharges to enhance competition.
As the oil price has greatly increased by almost 80% from January 2016 to January 2017, which greatly impacted on the aviation industry, particularly the air cargo market which largely operates on a long-term contract basis. In view of that and in response to the concerns of the industry, HKCAD agreed to implement a time-limited arrangement of allowing airlines to levy cargo fuel surcharge for flights originating from Hong Kong, with a view to maintaining the competitiveness of Hong Kong's aviation industry and Hong Kong's status as an international aviation hub.
