Working in remote areas of the Pacific Ocean, number
of amazing and beautiful crossings between Palau, Papua New Guinea, Eastern Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia in the Pacific Ocean and Singapore. Crossing from Sorong, West Papua in the Pacific Ocean to Livorno, Italy and return from Italy to Seychelles. In Asia mostly working in area of lack of spare parts supply and technical service. Working in dangerous area of Sulu sea, Sepadan Island and Gulf of Aden, pirate attack prevention. Resolving of number malfunctions and failures in the open sea as with main machinery as with auxiliary mechanisms, navigation and satellite equipment and entertainment system. Regular and number of crew safety trainings.
Refit project: 7-month ship refit period at Benetti home shipyard
- Overhauling of main engines and reconditioning its seawater cooling manifolds and exhaust manifolds and its valves. - Reconditioning of main sea chest and main seawater cooling manifolds, replacement of main sea chest valves.
- Replacing of diesel generators with new ones of bigger output power, pulling of new power cable tracks to MSB.
- Replacing of main power brakers for generators in MSB. Complete cleaning of MSB and bus bars and retightening of all screws and connection.
- Removing and calibration of propeller shafts, balancing of the propellers, repairing of both stern tubes and reinstalling of new shaft seals.
- Replacing of the shore power convertor with new one.
- Mega testing of all electrical machinery and equipment on board.
- Complete rebuilding of all air conditioning system, dismantling of 56 fan-coils and reconditioning them, sand blasting and pressure cleaning of the fan-coils’ housing and its deep trays. Replacement of fans, its bearings, temperature sensors, electric valves. Replacement of all pumps of the system and some seawater pipes. Descaling of condensate drain pipes and pressure cleaning of them. Refitting and noise insulation of all fan-coil compartments. Installation of new in-wall temperature controllers.
- Bow thruster frequency controllers and electronic board replacement, maintenance of the driving motor.
- Refitting of galley with new cooking equipment and kitchen appliances.
- Complete rebuild of the wheelhouse with new furniture, new finishing and refitting with new navigation equipment and pulling of new cable tracks.
- Upgrading of entertainment system.
- Lloyd’s 5-year survey.
- Management of number of subcontractors in multi-tasks day to day environment. Job and time planning. Safety and prevention. Communication with different nationalities in multi-language environment with different accents. Good working atmosphere care.
