Maybe the most beautiful spot in Marseille — and almost no cruise passenger ever finds their way there.
We all know it: you’ve got a few hours in port, you walk the Vieux Port like everyone else, and you think that was it. That day we hopped on the metro on a whim, rode ten minutes, walked another ten — and ended up standing in front of this waterfall.
Palais Longchamp. Massive colonnades, sculptures, a park all around. We were there half an hour and had the place practically to ourselves. No entry fee, no line, no crowds.
Easy to find even on your first cruise: ten minutes by metro from the Vieux Port.
Send this to the person you’re sailing with — they’ll definitely start planning. 👇
All the ways to get there and what else is worth seeing in Marseille is covered in detail on the blog — link in bio.
