GEODIS accelerates the electrification of its fleet! ⚡
We are proud to announce a firm order for 110 new 44-tonne electric heavy-duty trucks (developed by Renault Trucks and Volvo Trucks) for our European road transport operations.

Scheduled for delivery by May 2027, these vehicles will be dedicated to transport operations in France, covering both urban deliveries and long-distance transport. With this acquisition, the electric truck fleet of our European Road Network activity will reach 190 vehicles.

🔋 To support this fleet and optimize territorial coverage, we are developing electric corridors along main French routes, enabling charging every 250 to 500 kilometers, and our current network of around 60 charging points will expand to more than 200 by 2030.

According to Marc Vollet, Managing Director of the European Road Network at GEODIS, "The arrival of these new electric vehicles is part of a global decarbonization strategy and meets the expectations of our clients."

This major investment in fleet and infrastructure directly aligns with our CO2 emission reduction trajectory validated by the Science Based Targets initiative ( )!

The newly certified sites are in Cologne, Rodgau and Aurach, in Germany; Gothenburg, in Sweden; and Manchester, in the UK.

Solidarity in action: GEODIS teams helped head over 7 tons of humanitarian supplies to Venezuela to help residents after the June earthquakes 🤝

Logistics is about connecting communities and delivering support where it is needed most!
We are proud to have partnered with the association "Venezuela te necesita" to carry out a major relief mission, sending over 7 tons of vital supplies, including medical equipment, wheelchairs, hygiene products, and non-perishable food for babies and pets to the country.

This complex, multi-site logistics operation involved:
➡️ Domestic consolidation: our GEODIS | Distribution & Express teams collected goods from 3 sites across France (Toulon, Toulouse, and Paris) to transport them to Paris CDG airport.
➡️ Air freight: the cargo flew from Paris CDG to Lisbon, and onwards to Venezuela on Monday 24th, August.
➡️ On-the-ground support, with the shipment being received directly by our local GEODIS agent, PANATLANTIC, in Venezuela for local handling.

Special thanks to our partner ATC Aviation Services SA France and TAP Air Cargo for providing discounted rates, with GEODIS covering all transportation costs!

This operation reflects the dedication of our teams and partners working together to make a real impact. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this important solidarity project to life! 👏

Our teams recently coordinated an urgent pharmaceutical shipment from Hong Kong to Germany, with strict temperature requirements and tight delivery times. To keep the shipment on track, they leveraged tools such as temperature monitoring, thermal blankets and regular updates.
