Dr. Worakanya Siripidej, Chief Executive Officer of Siam Seaplane, joined the discussion between Thailand’s Ministry of Transport and the Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) to exchange ideas on advancing Thailand’s transportation infrastructure, logistics, aviation, and tourism sectors through the adoption of European technologies and standards.

The discussion covered several key topics, including road safety initiatives, the enhancement of Thai airports through digital technology and biometric systems, the development of the Landbridge project and national logistics network, as well as positioning Thailand as a regional superyacht hub to help drive economic growth and elevate the country’s tourism industry.

Siam Seaplane is truly honored to be part of this important dialogue and remains committed to supporting initiatives that help strengthen Thailand’s transportation, tourism, and economic future on an international level.

ในการหารือครั้งนี้ มีการนำเสนอแนวทางสำคัญครอบคลุมทั้งด้านความปลอดภัยทางถนน การยกระดับสนามบินไทยด้วยเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและระบบ Biometrics การพัฒนาโครงการ Landbridge และโลจิสติกส์ของประเทศ รวมถึงการผลักดันประเทศไทยสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลาง Superyacht ระดับภูมิภาค เพื่อกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจและยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวไทย

Siam Seaplane Receives In-Principle Approval for Seaplane Landing Sites in Krabi ✈️🌊

We are excited to share an important milestone for Siam Seaplane, as the temporary seaplane landing area at Tubkaek Beach, Krabi, along with two other landing sites, has officially received approval in principle from the Krabi Marine and Coastal Resources Committee.

On 21 May 2026, at Krabi Provincial Hall, Mr. Suwit Suriyawong, Vice Governor of Krabi Province, chaired the meeting of the Krabi Marine and Coastal Resources Committee together with related agencies to review the temporary seaplane water landing area proposal presented by Siam Seaplane, led by Khun Ekkachai Kittithornkul (Art), Exclusive Managing Partner for Krabi at Siam Seaplane.

This marks another meaningful step toward enhancing connectivity across the Andaman region by seamlessly linking air and sea travel while supporting Thailand’s premium and sustainable tourism future.

We would like to sincerely thank the Krabi provincial authorities and all related agencies for their guidance and support throughout the process.

Safety, environmental responsibility, and community collaboration remain at the heart of our operations as we continue working closely with all stakeholders under the highest operational standards to further elevate tourism in Thailand.

สยามซีเพลน ได้รับมติเห็นชอบในหลักการสำหรับพื้นที่ขึ้นลงชั่วคราวของเครื่องบินทะเลในจังหวัดกระบี่ ✈️🌊

เรามีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะแจ้งให้ทราบถึงความคืบหน้าครั้งสำคัญของ สยามซีเพลน (Siam Seaplane) โดยพื้นที่ขึ้นลงชั่วคราวของเครื่องบินทะเลบริเวณหาดทับแขก จังหวัดกระบี่ พร้อมกับพื้นที่ขึ้นลงอีก 2 จุด ได้ผ่านการพิจารณาและได้รับมติเห็นชอบจากคณะกรรมการทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่งจังหวัดกระบี่เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว

เมื่อวันที่ 21 พฤษภาคม 2569 ณ ศาลากลางจังหวัดกระบี่ นายสุวิทย์ สุริยะวงค์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดกระบี่ ได้เป็นประธานในการประชุมคณะกรรมการทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่งจังหวัดกระบี่ ร่วมกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อพิจารณาข้อเสนอพื้นที่ขึ้นลงชั่วคราวทางทะเลของเครื่องบินทะเล ซึ่งนำเสนอโดยบริษัท สยามซีเพลน จำกัด นำโดย คุณเอกชัย กิตติธรกุล กรรมการผู้จัดการประจำจังหวัดกระบี่ ของบริษัท สยามซีเพลน จำกัด

ความสำเร็จในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญในการยกระดับการเดินทางและการท่องเที่ยวในภูมิภาคอันดามัน พร้อมทั้งสนับสนุนอนาคตการท่องเที่ยวระดับพรีเมียมและการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืนให้กับจังหวัดกระบี่และประเทศไทย

Our Seaplane Asia Group CEO, Dennis Keller, had the privilege of moderating the panel discussion on “Transforming Thailand’s Aviation Infrastructure” together with leading voices from across the industry, including Patee Sarasin (Really Cool Airlines), Dr. Pongpat Thiensiri, Ph.D. (CAAT - The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand, and Phanumat Lerthiransakul (Skydive Thailand)

On May 12, 2026, our CEO, Dr. Worakanya Siripidej, and the Siam Seaplane team were incredibly honored to host Ms. Krongkarn Poomwiset, Assistant Secretary-General of the National Institute for Emergency Medicine (NIEM) สถาบันการแพทย์ฉุกเฉินแห่งชาติ -สพฉ.1669; Maj. Gen. Chokchai Kwanpichit, M.D., representing Phramongkutklao Medical Center; and Dr. Thanakorn Laksanama-phan from the Emergency Medical Operation Unit of Ramathibodi Hospital.
The visit included a showcase of our operational facilities and aircraft to discuss the future development of Aeromedical Evacuation operations in Thailand and to explore further collaboration in this critical field.
