Part of what makes me a great host is my willingness to also be a little bit messy.

I'm not perfect, and you aren't expected to be either.

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I have a pretty dark sense of humor (I blame those years as an ER nurse), I like women who are smart and witty, women who don't take themselves too seriously. I want to spend my time surrounded by people who are curious and quick to laugh.

If that sounds like you, I can't wait to meet you.
2027 Season is now open, booking link in bio.

This one’s for the ladies who want to travel with a group but hate the idea of being an extra in an influencers photo shoot.

We spent the morning in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which was lovely, and I'd go back tomorrow. But that's not what anyone talked about at dinner.

There was sausage making, the pool, and pétanque. We may be new friends but nobody was going easy on anybody. There was trash talk. There was a disputed throw. I lost badly, and the kindness lasted about two minutes.

Nothing on the schedule. Nowhere to be. Just w**e, wet hair, and a group of women who were strangers a few days earlier, now laughing at me. It was a damn good time.

Your women's retreat in France should leave you feeling lighter. Sometimes that lightness comes from the bubbles in your glass, sometimes it comes from the joy of knowing you can just be yourself.

Either way, you leave with a smile on your face.

Follow along if this sounds like something your vacations have been missing.

2027 Season now open for booking, link in bio.

The Dordogne is the part of France nobody knows about, and that's why I like it.

It's castles, villages built into the side of a cliff, and lunches that take three hours because nobody's in a hurry. Duck. Walnuts. A lot of cheese. And if the dog finds a truffle, we're eating it.

I'm keeping this one slow. You're not getting up at 6 a.m. to see four villages before lunch. You'll see one, eat too much, and go back to Château de la Bourlie and sit outside. Nobody will ask you to do anything else.

October 2027. Small group.

Walk into a French bakery and point at a croissant without saying bonjour first, and the woman behind the counter will decide she doesn't like you. And honestly, fair.

Bonjour goes first. Every time. Shop, pharmacy, the guy at the train station. Before your question, before your bad French, before anything.

In France skipping it is rude. Saying it is the bare minimum. The bare minimum gets you surprisingly far.

After 6 p.m. it's bonsoir. Add madame or monsieur if you want to show off.

The question I get asked most: do I need to speak French?

No. You really don't.

This was our sausage making class. Our guide was there to translate. Our new friend running the class spoke very little English. Then the sausage stuffer came out, and if you've ever seen one, you already know where this went.

Nobody translated the joke. Nobody needed to.

I can plan the class, the guide and the table. The laughing at the wrong moment is up to you. That's the part people remember.

If you want a trip that looks good on Instagram, this probably isn't it. If you want one where you cry laughing over raw pork with people you met that week, my 2027 retreats are open. Link in bio to book.
