The Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) concluded its Northern Division pocket consultation programme with a meeting held at the residence of Mr. Prem Chand in Kilikoso, Daku.

Awareness was created on reduced lending rates, Mortgage Protection Cover, the 5Si Special Social Security Savings Scheme with Insurance, mySCGF digital services, and other products and services aimed at enhancing the financial well being and resilience of growers and their families.

The consultation also served as an important forum for growers to voice their concerns, share insights from the field, and engage in meaningful discussions with SCGF representatives on issues affecting their farming operations and livelihoods.

The session was attended by SCGF Chief Executive Officer Mr. Raj Sharma, Mr. Vijinesh Naidu, Relationship Support Officer – Seaqaqa District, and Mr. Arvind Chandra, Senior Relationship Officer – Labasa District, who interacted directly with growers and responded to their queries.

SCGF extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Prem Chand and all growers who participated in the consultation. Honouring Legacy, Strengthening Service on Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna Day

Staff of SCGF joined together in commemorating Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna Day, recognising the lasting contributions and leadership of one of Fiji’s most distinguished national leaders.

The occasion also provided an opportunity for staff connection and engagement, as members from Head Office and District Offices gathered both in person and virtually through an internal session coordinated by the SCGF Sports & Social Club. The discussions centred on teamwork, collaboration, and strengthening efforts towards delivering better service and support to Fiji’s cane growers.

A meaningful day that reflected unity, shared purpose, and the continued dedication of the SCGF team to the growers and communities they serve.
