The marsh Labrador tea is blooming now 🌸

Its blossoms have an intoxicating fragrance, and walking through a flowering swamp is one of the most memorable experiences of early summer. The scent seems to tell the swamp's mystical story.

The blooming also always brings calf marking season to mind, because normally those two happens at the same time. We luckily have a little bit of marsh Labrador tea growing in our own yard, but within a few weeks we will also be able to enjoy its fragrance in the forest and swamps when the annual calf marking begins 🦌

This is what our Kentura Cabin looks like in the summer.

Quite charming even without the snow and reindeer, don't you think? 💕

During the summer, our reindeer roam freely in the forest and don't return to their home enclosure until somewhere in November–December. That's why our reindeer cabin is not available for bookings during the summer season.

If you'd like to experience the Kentura Cabin in winter, surrounded by reindeer and snow, it's worth booking soon, available dates fill up quickly.

An ecological and almost free ingredient. As a food fish, pike tends to divide opinions one way or another, but these are definitely enjoyable to eat. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside.
