Työvene breaks into the offshore wind sector!

Työvene has secured an order for three 29-meter Crew Transfer Vessels for the offshore wind sector. The SWATH type vessels have exceptionally good seakeeping properties.

Työvene has secured an order for three hybrid-ready SWATH CTV's from the Scottish company Maritime Craft Services (Clyde) LTD (MCS). This order marks the entry for Työvene into the rapidly growing offshore wind market.

BALTIC WORKBOATS AND TYÖVENE OY ESTABLISH A JOINT SHIPBUILDING COMPANY – NORDIC YARDS GROUP

👉 The newly formed Nordic Yards Group, based on the two experienced shipbuilding companies, Baltic Workboats and Työvene Oy, combines the best expertise of both companies and will launch ships of up to 120 meters from the Nasva and Uusikaupunki factories.

💪🇫🇮 Meyer Turku has secured the partners responsible for the construction and equipment phases of the offshore patrol vessels to be delivered to the Finnish Border Guard. The ships' hulls are built by the Polish Baltic Operator. The deck structures are built by Työvene, which also equips the ships in close cooperation with Meyer Turku.

”We are very proud to be trusted with this very special project”, says Juha Granqvist, CEO of Työvene.

The outfitting of equipment and finishing work of the vessels delivered to the Finnish Border Guard by Meyer Turku will be done by Työvene and the hulls will be built by the Polish company Baltic Operator.

💪🇫🇮 Today the 6th Next Generation Patrol Boat was handed over in to Rajavartiolaitos - Gränsbevakningsväsendet - Finnish Border Guard. The boat will be called RV96 and will be stationed in Porkkala on the South Coast of Finland. We wish her and her crew fair winds and following seas. The boat is one of seven vessels in the RV20 series and they are all built at the Työvene shipyard in Uusikaupunki.

The fourth passenger ferry from Työvene has arrived in Gothenburg – two months early. The new electric hybrid ferry Eloise is yet another step towards the goal of electrifying the public transportation in Gothenburg.

Så här ser hon ut, Västtrafiks nya elfärja Eloise som längre fram i år kommer att levereras till Göteborg från varvet Uudenkaupungin Työvene i Nystad, Finland. Färjan har 25 procent mer batterikapacitet än systern Elvy och kommer att sättas i trafik till sommaren.
