Midnight Sun! ☀️✨

Half a year ago, the sun stayed below the horizon and we were living through the Polar Night. Now, six months later, the Midnight Sun has returned, bringing light around the clock.

Summer in Lapland is just as magical as winter. The forests are full of life, nature never seems to sleep and the endless daylight brings a special kind of joy.

Auttiköngäs Café, Auttikönkään pirttikahvila, a Santa’s Countryside Road destination,

Visit the cozy Auttiköngäs Café in Autti, about an hour’s drive from Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi.

The café is located next to Auttiköngäs, one of Finland’s most beautiful waterfalls. Behind the café, a 3,6 km nature trail takes you over the waterfall, through old northern forest, and to an observation tower on the rocks.

In the log cabin café, guests can enjoy fresh pastries, waffles, pies, and cakes. Many ingredients come from the café’s own garden or from local producers. All pastries are lactose-free, and gluten-free options are also available.

Auttiköngäs Café welcomes nature lovers and private groups. Groups only by booking in advance.

Take a break, enjoy something delicious, and feel the peaceful nature of Autti.

We warmly welcome everyone to join our clean-up evening in Santa Claus Village on Wednesday, 6 May 2026 from 17:00 to 19:00.

Come help Santa’s elves make the Arctic Circle shine for the spring and summer season! 🌿

Small snacks will be served for all volunteers, and prizes will be raffled among the hardworking helpers.

Summer Market at Santa Claus Village ✨

Members of the Santa Claus Village cooperative from the surrounding countryside will be here selling their own handicrafts, local goods, and carefully made products. Perfect for discovering something special and supporting local makers.

Santa Claus Village is open every day of the year ✨

Mid-April marks the beginning of the off-season here in Santa Claus Village. While some places are temporarily closed during this quieter period, many businesses remain open and visitors are warmly welcome to experience the magic of the Arctic Circle.

Please note that Santa Claus Gift House will be closed for maintenance until May 31st.
