Building the future of logistics in Northern Sweden ⚓
This week, Rauanheimo participated in the Framtidens hamn – Port of Skellefteå i omställning conference in Skellefteå, where discussions focused on port investments, the strong growth of Northern Sweden and the future of sustainable logistics.
One of the speakers at the event was our Project Director, Kim Ventin, who presented Rauanheimo’s expansion into Sweden and the Port of Skellefteå. His presentation highlighted how Rauanheimo, as part of KWH Logistics, is well positioned to meet the growing logistics needs of Northern Sweden and contribute to the development of future supply chains.
The Port of Skellefteå is undergoing a significant transformation. An ongoing investment of approximately SEK 1.4 billion is creating an entirely new port area. This development will strengthen the region’s competitiveness and create new opportunities for industry and logistics operators alike.
A sincere thank you to Port of Skellefteå for the invitation and to the event organizers for providing an excellent opportunity to discuss the region’s future together with representatives from industry, port operations and public decision-making.
We are proud to be part of building a growing and increasingly international logistics network on both sides of the Gulf of Bothnia.

Rauanheimo osallistui tällä viikolla Framtidens hamn – Port of Skellefteå i omställning –konferenssiin Skellefteåssa. Projektijohtajamme Kim Ventin kertoi puheenvuorossaan Rauanheimon etabloitumisesta Ruotsiin ja Skellefteån satamaan sekä siitä, kuinka osana KWH Logisticsia vastaamme Pohjois-Ruotsin kasvaviin logistiikkatarpeisiin.

Den här veckan deltog Rauanheimo i konferensen Framtidens hamn – Port of Skellefteå i omställning i Skellefteå. Under evenemanget berättade vår projektdirektör Kim Ventin om Rauanheimos etablering i Sverige och i Skellefteå hamn samt hur vi, som en del av KWH Logistics, kan möta de växande logistikbehoven i norra Sverige.
