June 24th is the day of San Juan.
A popular fiesta all over Spain with bonfires and fireworks usually starting from midnight on the 23rd, but the Sunday before that date in Arroyo de la Miel romeria takes place, The procession of horses and carts, a beautiful pilgrimage not to be missed.
Arroyo de la Miel celebrates from 24th to 29th June with its annual local fair,in the daytime at plaza mezquita you can enjoy traditional music, food and drink and in the late evening the fairground near la paloma park comes alive till the early hours of the morning.
Truly a magnificent week in Arroyo de la Miel not to be missed.
