On Friday 12 June 2026, Pope Leo XIV will celebrate the first ever papal Holy Mass in the Canary Islands. 50,000 pilgrims are expected at the Port of Santa Cruz.

🚌 Important Transfer Update – Coso Apoteosis 17.02.2026

Tonight’s Coso Apoteosis carnival is one of the biggest events of the year, with tens of thousands of attendees.

For safety reasons, local police and traffic authorities fully control all bus access and departure times. Each bus company receives an assigned return slot on the day itself. We do not choose the departure time and we are not informed of it in advance.

Staggered departures are mandatory to prevent traffic chaos and ensure safe crowd control. If all buses attempted to leave at once, the situation would quickly become unsafe.

We understand that some guests preferred to return later. However, if your assigned bus departure was earlier, this was strictly determined by the authorities.

Guests who decide to stay longer may arrange their own transport back. Please note that this is entirely at your own responsibility. Due to the size of the event, taxis and transport services can be extremely limited, and we cannot guarantee availability or assist with alternative transfers.

These measures are designed to protect everyone and allow the event to run safely.

Carnival 2026 - Coso Apoteosis (Chair Only) Update

We would like to inform guests who booked Coso Apoteosis – Chair Only tickets for 17 February 2026 that, due to limited official seat allocations, some bookings made after 10 December 2025 could unfortunately not be fulfilled.

All affected guests have now received a full refund.

A detailed explanation has been sent by email, including a PDF available in multiple languages (English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Dutch, Polish and Chinese).

Please check your inbox for full information.

For guests who booked bus transfers or bus + seat packages, all updates have already been sent by email. If you have any questions, please contact us by email so we can assist you as efficiently as possible.

For everyone attending Carnival, especially those already in Santa Cruz, we wish you an amazing celebration. Carnival is much more than a seat, and we hope you enjoy the atmosphere, the parade and the experience to the fullest.

🎄 Merry Christmas from Club Canary 🎅

Santa stopped by our office today, so we’ll take that as a good sign for the holidays 😄

Just a quick heads-up for today: Our office closes a bit earlier, around 18:00, but we’re still reachable for urgent matters or emergencies.

We’ve had a lot of last-minute requests today, and we totally get it, Christmas vibes hit different. But please keep in mind: Christmas week is very busy in the Canary Islands. Many activities are already fully booked.
If you’re staying on the islands over the next days and want to do something, plan ahead and book in time to avoid disappointment.
