Last week saw the return of super yacht racing in 2021 with several boats lining up in Port Cervo for the Loro Piana regatta.

For the first time in 14 months it was back to navigating around the tedious rocks and channels onboard Missy. 4 cleanly sailed races kept us ahead of the field, taking first place snd winning the regatta overall 🥇🥇🥇🥇.

On top of winning the series, Missy also won the prize for the best starting prowess, a title I have helped to win now at 3 super yacht regattas.

B&G have released software version 20.2 for Zeus & Vulcan devices. among other features this new update brings IP camera support allowing users to add multiple IP camera connections to their MFD. A long awaited feature!

We have been eagerly awaiting a B&G Nemesis demo unit since it was unveiled last year and today, we have one!

We will be conducting a thorough review of the product to ascertain its full potential and integration limitations, as well as the commonly asked question regarding installation and retrofit. In the coming days we will make the unit available to demo to our customers here in Palma.

We have also acquired our Basic NMEA2000 installer certification from the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA).

The NMEA2000 standard is at the heart of the work we do and the services we provided, using modern CAN Bus technologies for instrumentation used by manufacturers such as B&G, Garmin, Raymarine and many more.

By having a strong knowledge and understanding of how these systems should be designed and installed allows us to provide a solid, reliable systems to our customers and to quickly and easily troubleshoot faulty networks.

We look forward to attending the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) Advanced NMEA2000 Installer course in person later this year.

Through joining the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) this has allowed us to obtain our Marine Electronics Installers certification.

This certification revolves around the NMEA 0400 V4.0 standard which defines a whole range of specifications to be adhered to for marine electronic installations, such as DC power cabling, coaxial antenna cable specification, grounding, AIS, EMI & various sensors / transducers
