🇲🇦 I genuinely didn’t expect to find THIS side of Agadir… 🌊🏜️

Leave the hotels and beaches behind and you can experience a completely different side of Agadir, Morocco — huge sandy landscapes, quad bikes, sandboarding and incredible views towards the Atlantic coast.

🏍️ Racing across the sand on quad bikes
🏂 Trying sandboarding down the dunes
🏜️ Surrounded by seemingly endless sand
🌊 And then suddenly… the Atlantic Ocean appears beside the desert

That contrast between the rugged Moroccan landscape and the blue Atlantic coastline is what made this experience special for me.

If you’re planning an Agadir holiday and searching for things to do in Agadir, Agadir desert excursions, quad biking in Agadir, sandboarding in Morocco or unique places to visit near Agadir, save this one. 🇲🇦

Agadir isn’t just resorts, pools and beaches — get outside the tourist areas and Morocco starts looking very different. 👀

Would you choose the quad bike 🏍️ or sandboard 🏂?

🇲🇦 There’s more to Agadir than beaches and resorts…

Out in the Agadir desert, surrounded by sand and incredible Moroccan landscapes, we stopped for one of those simple travel moments that you remember. 🌵

A local Moroccan gentleman welcomed us with traditional Moroccan mint tea and snacks 🍵🇲🇦 — and of course, I had to try a little Arabic with him! 😂

But the relaxing part didn’t last long…

🏍️ Quad biking through the desert
🏂 Sandboarding across the dunes
🍵 Traditional Moroccan tea
🤝 Meeting the locals
🌵 Exploring a completely different side of Agadir

If you’re planning an Agadir holiday and searching for things to do in Agadir, Agadir excursions, Morocco quad biking, sandboarding in Morocco or an Agadir desert experience, this is definitely one to consider.

Sometimes travelling isn’t just about seeing somewhere new — it’s the people you meet and the little experiences along the way that make the trip. 🇲🇦❤️

Would you try the quad bikes or sandboarding first? 👇

🇲🇦 I bet you didn’t know Agadir had THIS… 🌊👀

If you’re planning a holiday to Agadir, Morocco, especially with children, put Danialand Waterpark on your list of places to check out.

Set in the hills above Agadir, this is much more than just a couple of swimming pools:

🌊 27 water slides with different thrill levels
🏊 10 swimming pools
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Attractions for both adults and younger children
🍽️ Restaurants and food available inside
🌴 Plenty of space to turn it into a family day out
🚡 Plus Danialand is also home to Morocco’s first cable car, with incredible views over Agadir

And they’re not finished yet… 👀

The wider Danialand project includes more attractions and restaurant concepts, with unusual airplane and boat restaurant concepts (coming soon)

In this vlog I’ll show you where Danialand is, the park map, water slides, pools, restaurants, current prices I found during my visit and what the place actually looks like — so you can decide whether it’s worth adding to your Agadir itinerary.

💡 TIP: Check the latest opening times, attractions and ticket prices before travelling, as prices and what’s operating can change throughout the season.

If you’re searching for things to do in Agadir, Agadir with kids, Agadir waterparks, Morocco family holidays or places to visit in Agadir, SAVE this for your next Morocco trip. 🇲🇦✈️

🇲🇦 Looking for a family-friendly hotel with a WATERPARK in Marrakech? Save this one! 🌊👀

This is Rose Aqua Park Labranda Rose Aqua Parc Hotel in Marrakech, and if you’re travelling to Morocco with children, there’s plenty here to keep the whole family entertained.

🌊 Aqua park with bigger slides for the thrill seekers
💦 Separate aqua park area for younger children
🏊 Multiple swimming pools
🍽️ All-inclusive options available
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kids’ facilities and family-friendly atmosphere
📍 Great Marrakech location, with shops, restaurants and the city within easy reach

One of the biggest advantages for families is having the waterpark inside the hotel — the kids get their pool and slides while you’re still close enough to explore Marrakech rather than being completely isolated in a resort.

So if you’re searching for Marrakech hotels with waterparks, all-inclusive hotels in Marrakech, Marrakech with kids, Morocco family holidays or where to stay in Marrakech, add this one to your list. 🇲🇦✈️

Would your kids choose the waterpark or exploring Marrakech? 👇

🇲🇦 Welcome to Cap Spartel — one of the most fascinating geographical spots in Morocco. 🌍🌊

Just outside Tangier in northern Morocco, Cap Spartel sits at the northwestern edge of Africa, overlooking the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean region. On clear days, you’re looking across the water towards Europe. 🇲🇦🇪🇸

But there’s more here than an incredible view…

💡 A few Cap Spartel facts:

🌊 Atlantic Ocean meets the approach to the Mediterranean
🌍 Located around 14km west of Tangier
🔦 Home to Morocco’s oldest lighthouse
🗓️ The lighthouse has been operating since 1864
🚢 Built after dangerous shipwrecks highlighted the need to protect vessels navigating these waters
🌿 The surrounding headland combines dramatic coastline, forests and incredible viewpoints

And if you’re visiting, don’t stop here. The famous Caves of Hercules and Achakar Beach are nearby, making it easy to combine them into one trip.

🚕 How to get to Cap Spartel:
From Tangier, it’s roughly a 20–30 minute drive, depending on where you start and traffic. A taxi, private driver or organised tour are some of the easiest options. (Cap Spartel)

If you’re planning a Tangier holiday, Morocco road trip or looking for the best places to visit in northern Morocco, put Cap Spartel on your list. 📍

Sometimes the best part of travelling isn’t just seeing somewhere beautiful — it’s understanding where in the world you’re actually standing. 🌍

🇲🇦 Tangier might be one of Morocco’s most interesting cities geographically — and it’s surprisingly easy to reach from the UK. ✈️

Located right at the northern tip of Morocco, Tangier sits beside the Strait of Gibraltar, with southern Spain just across the water. 🌍 You’re in North Africa, yet Europe feels incredibly close.

And Tangier’s location gets even more interesting — this part of Morocco sits between the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, helping give the city its unique mix of African, Moroccan, Mediterranean and European influences. 🌊

✈️ Arriving in Tangier

Fly into Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport (TNG) and the city centre is roughly 12–15 km away, depending on where you’re staying.

🚕 Taxis are one of the easiest ways to reach the city, but as with many destinations, it’s worth checking the expected fare before getting in and confirming the price with the driver.

Once you’re in Tangier, you’ve got the Medina, Kasbah, Grand Socco, Corniche and beaches, while places such as Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules are easily added to your itinerary.

If you’re searching for a Morocco city break, Tangier travel guide, Tangier airport tips, things to do in Tangier or an alternative to Marrakech, this city deserves a look. 🇲🇦

Would you visit Tangier for a weekend from the UK? 👇

🇲🇦 Think Morocco is just Marrakech and Agadir? Tangier deserves a place on your list. 👀

Sitting in northern Morocco where Africa meets Europe, Tangier combines history, beaches, colourful streets, incredible viewpoints and traditional Moroccan culture — all in one city. 🌍

📍 Places worth visiting in and around Tangier:

🏘️ Tangier Medina & Kasbah — get lost in the narrow streets, markets and historic heart of the city.

🌊 Cap Spartel — one of Tangier’s most famous viewpoints, overlooking the meeting point of the Atlantic and Mediterranean region.

🕳️ Caves of Hercules — one of the area’s best-known attractions, with its famous sea-facing opening.

🏖️ Achakkar Beach — combine it with Cap Spartel and the Hercules Caves for a great day out.

☕ Café Hafa — a historic Tangier café with terraces overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar.

🏛️ Grand Socco — a lively gateway between the modern city and the old Medina.

🌴 Corniche & Tangier Beach — perfect for an evening walk along the waterfront.

And here’s what makes Tangier even more fascinating: Spain is just across the Strait of Gibraltar, giving the city a unique mix of Moroccan, African, Mediterranean and European influences. 🇲🇦🇪🇸

If you’re searching for things to do in Tangier, places to visit in Morocco, a Tangier travel guide or a different Morocco holiday destination, save this for your trip. ✈️

Would you choose Tangier over Marrakech? 👀👇
