37. Happy Birthday to Me. 🎂
On July 6, 2026, I turned 37.
I thought I’d be spending my birthday alone in Madrid.
Instead, I ended up having dinner with two wonderful Taiwanese friends.
After dinner, we joined a crowd of passionate football fans to watch the World Cup.
And just as we finally caught the match, Spain scored the winning goal.
So I guess birthday luck is real. 😆 (You’re welcome, Spain.)

In June, I started my internship at a luxury five-star hotel in Madrid.
On my very first day, I realized almost everyone spoke Spanish.
Every day has been a challenge—trying to keep up with work while not always understanding what’s being said.
There have been moments of frustration and self-doubt.
Thankfully, I’ve been surrounded by incredibly kind colleagues who are patient, supportive, and never hesitate to encourage me.
But if I want to stay in Madrid after my internship, I know my Spanish has to improve.
So on my days off, I squeeze in Spanish classes.
Just two hours a week—not much, but it’s the best I can manage.
After all, I’m still not ready to give up dancing.

Will I still be here in five months?
I honestly don’t know.
But what I do know is that the best thing I can do is make the most of each day, and become just a little better than yesterday.
Here’s to 37.
To staying brave.
And to believing that hard work will eventually find its answer.

2026.07.06，我又長了一歲。
原本以為，今年會一個人在馬德里度過生日。
結果最後，有兩位美麗的台灣朋友陪我一起吃晚餐。
吃完飯後，我們還和一群瘋狂的足球迷一起看世足賽。
更巧的是，在我們終於看到比賽的那一刻，西班牙就進球了。
所以我說，壽星果然是幸運的。（西班牙應該要謝謝我😂）

六月開始，我在馬德里的五星級奢華飯店實習。
第一天上班就發現，大家幾乎都只說西班牙語。
每天都努力跟上工作的節奏，也常常因為聽不懂而感到焦慮。
幸好，我遇到了一群很有耐心的同事。
他們願意等我、教我，也總是不吝嗇給我鼓勵。
但如果想在實習結束後，繼續留在馬德里工作，我知道自己的西班牙語還要更進步。
所以不上班的日子，我又開始上西語課。
一週只有兩小時，雖然不多，但已經是目前能擠出的時間。
畢竟，我還是捨不得放棄跳舞。

五個月後，我能不能順利留在這裡，我還不知道。
但我知道，現在能做的，就是認真過好每一天。
每天，都比昨天進步一點點。
37歲，希望自己繼續勇敢，也繼續相信努力會有答案。
