🌊 Chief Engineer – Spare Parts & After-Sales Department

LIMANi Supply Group, a fast-growing ship supply company active in 115+ ports across Europe, is expanding its Manila operations. We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer with seagoing experience who understands how vessels operate, knows IMPA codes, and is ready to lead and structure our brand-new Spare Parts and After-Sales departments.
🔧 Role Overview:
As our Chief Engineer on shore, you will be the technical backbone of our Spare Parts Division, working closely with operations and customer care teams to ensure reliable sourcing, accurate delivery, and seamless after-sales service.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
🚢 Spare Parts Division (Main Focus)
Obtain competitive quotes for requested spare parts.
Prepare and send professional quotations to clients.
Upon order confirmation, coordinate supplier readiness dates.
Organize and monitor delivery to our warehouse or direct-to-vessel—together with our Ops team in Indonesia.
Evaluate supplier reliability (e.g. frequent missing/wrong items) and propose corrective actions.
Serve as the internal technical reference for IMPA codes and item usage on board.
🤝 After-Sales Department
Handle customer queries related to missing items, incorrect deliveries, or replacements.
Collaborate with our Customer Relations Manager in Manila to manage expectations, offer professional explanations, and resolve disputes.
Distinguish between supplier errors and customer mistakes (e.g. wrong item ordered), always aiming for fair and professional communication.
🤝 Teamwork & Reporting
You will work with:
A full-time Ops Assistant in Indonesia (for logistics/delivery ex*****on).
A Customer Relations Manager in Manila (for after-sales queries and CRM).
Report directly to HQ (Madrid) and coordinate with our purchasing and operations teams in Europe and Asia.
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile:
Former Chief Engineer (at sea) with strong knowledge of vessel technical systems and spare parts.
Familiar with IMPA codes and marine supply chain processes.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Strong communication skills – can handle both technical discussions and customer relations.
Structured, reliable, solution-oriented, and assertive when needed.
Experience in procurement, supply chain, or ship chandler industry is a plus.
