🇩🇪 Die erste Hauptstadt auf war nicht , so wie heute, sondern . Die Stadt ist nicht nur bekannt für ihre archäologischen Stätten, sondern auch, weil sie der Endpunkt des Jakobswegs 🥾 hier auf Gran Canaria ist. Dieses Jahr feiern wir das Heilige Jahr, das nur dann gefeiert wird, wenn der 25. Juli, der Feiertag des Heiligen Jakobus, auf einen Sonntag fällt.
Vom 13. Mai bis zum 2. Juni werden auf den Straßen Blumen anlässlich des Festes "Gáldar en flor", bzw. "Blühendes Gáldar" ausgestellt. 🌸🌻🌼 Sehr empfehlenswert dabei ist auch, den zu besichtigen, der älteste auf der Insel Gran Canaria (seit 1718). Er befindet sich im Innenhof des Gemeindehauses und ist 8m hoch.

🇬🇧 The first capital on Gran Canaria was not Las Palmas, as it is today, but Galdar. The city is not only known for its archaeological sites, but also for being the end point of the here in Gran Canaria. This year we celebrate the Jubilee Year, which takes place when the 25th of July, day of James the Great, happens on a Sunday.
From May 13th to June 2nd, flowers are displayed in the streets due to the festival "Gáldar en flor", or "Blooming Gáldar". It is also worth visiting the Canarian tree, the oldest on the island of Gran Canaria (since 1718). It is located in the courtyard of the municipal building and is 8m high.
