NEWS - baggage handler strikes at Malaga airport have been scrapped.

Planned strikes by Menzies’ staff in Spain have been scrapped ahead of the Easter weekend. Strikes were scheduled to happen from Thursday through to Monday the 6th April. Workers agreed a last minute deal yesterday and called off the strikes.

The strikes were aimed at improving general working conditions, and the management of shift patterns and overtime work.

Figuring out the amount of time to allow when picking up from Malaga airport is like trying to guess the lottery numbers 😂
Sometimes when the queues feel never ending it can take over an hour from touchdown to getting to the arrivals hall .
Mix in airport assistance and a few flights landing in a short space of time and the regret of not taking a packed lunch soon kicks in! 😜
However last night I’m sure a new record was set. From touchdown to the arrivals hall with luggage collected along the way…. 14 minutes!!!
Always good to turn on your data roaming when you land to stay in touch with your driver for free via WhatsApp
