The hybridBIK.ES goal is to let clients rent an e-bike which could take its rider to the plateau of the Mount of Teide (over 2.000 m above sea level) with little sweat, without killing your legs or let’s say it - without feeling like dying on the way there :) For this you’d need a powerful e-bike, with a powerful battery. So here it is – a bike with typical mountain 22x32x42 crank set & oversize 12-36 cassette. It is a comfortable, recreational version with gel trekking seats, ergo grips with horns, adjustable shock absorber with lockout (enabling you to block it during uphill), slim tires and most of all with 36V battery with 20Ah capacity, compared to typical 8 – 10Ah e-bike. This is a fast charging battery (from 0-75% in 1 hour) which gives you 250W of support and can be charged while you’re having a coffee in a cafe on the way.

I have started my adventure with electric bikes (called e-bike or more precisely pedelec) few years ago and I fell in love with this type of recreation. It allows e-bike riders to see more, go farther and at the end come back with happy smile on their faces, even if they are not typical sport lovers. I’ve always been keen on bikes, but instead of speed road bikes I went for tourist ones. I love to visit new places in more comfy way, taking my time to see and experience the world around me :) instead of challenging myself to break my speed records. This e-bike enchantment had lead me to this point.
