A little update from Cape verde, while I have been down here getting this boat Ready Jay has been doing well with the wahoo back in Tenerife. I am back for a few weeks on Saturday. Still need a few things done but getting there slowly, here is a picture of her with outriggers on. We are waiting for the engines to go back in then paint the bottom and in the water. Looking forward to getting out in Cape Verde and see what the fishing is really like.

25 kg wahoo from yesterday it’s been a bit hard this few weeks but there’s still some good fish here.

Sorry about lack of posts again but since the new year we have been catching just barracuda and snapper on the light Rods. Its now that time of year with Happy Ho**er currently out of the water for the annual maintenance, Jay is down in Cape Verde taking more bits down there for the new boat and Tammy Macwilliam and me are currently in Tanzania on Safari and then on to Zanzibar before we start back at work on the 26th

We had nice last few weeks of fishing to end the year with wahoo amberjacks and tuna. It weren’t a great year but it definitely had a lot of great moments

Not a great lot to report about as we have had some bad weather in Tenerife the last couple of days but I am over in Cape Verde again getting the other boat ready and finally today we got her out of the water to start the maintenance, back to Tenerife on Saturday then back here again in a few weeks

Well not the best of pictures but this is our new boat but it's in the island of Sal in Cape Verde. It's identical to Happy Ho**er here in Tenerife but in a different archipelago. We did have a few nice fish during the summer but it was difficult, Jay has been posting the odd fish and he also posted yesterday on here as he is doing mostly Instagram. We are hoping the new boat will be up and running in March. I will be there and Jay will be here in Tenerife. We do ask guys that all bookings for Happy Ho**er Tenerife are to be done via the website as it will be too much to run both boats the way we have done in the past. Will keep you all posted on the Cape Verde boat. I am back down there at the end of next week to start getting her ready. Hope to see some of you there
