Its warm, clear waters, limited river runoff, and year-round sunlight create ideal conditions for coral reefs to thrive. These reefs form complex underwater habitats that provide food, shelter, breeding grounds, and nursery areas for thousands of marine species.
 
The variety of dive sites around Sharm El Sheikh adds even more diversity.

Hidden inside a reef cave, a sea turtle rests peacefully while a shimmering cloud of glassfish drifts around it. The cave offers shelter from strong currents, giving the turtle a safe place to conserve energy between feeding trips.
 
Glassfish gather in these protected spaces for a different reason. Their tight schools create safety in numbers, making it harder for predators to single out one fish. Together, they transform the cave into a living, moving curtain of silver.
 
It’s a reminder that every corner of the reef has its own story, where different species share the same space in remarkable ways.
