The TIM – Türkiye Exporters Assembly meeting witnessed the participation of MP Adel El Lamei, Board Member of the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association, Chairman of the Egyptian-Turkish Business Council, and Chairman of Mitchell Junior Group Egypt, during a high-level engagement with a distinguished Turkish business delegation representing leading companies across various sectors.

🔹The event was held under the patronage and esteemed presence of Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Cairo, and was attended by a senior delegation of officials, including:

In his remarks, MP Adel El Lamie emphasized the importance of strengthening Egyptian–Turkish economic relations, highlighting that the Egyptian-Turkish Business Council, established in 1993, serves as a key platform for enhancing trade and investment cooperation between both countries, supported by the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association.

He further noted that bilateral trade has increased to approximately $10 billion, with a target of $15 billion in the near term, alongside more than $5 billion in joint investments generating over 120,000 jobs. He also stressed the importance of the Free Trade Agreement in strengthening industrial cooperation and reinforcing Egypt’s position as a regional hub for production and exports.

و ذلك من خلال كلمة رئيسية ألقاها بالجلسة الافتتاحية للمنتدى الذي تم عقده بالقاهرة مساء أمس، خلال الزيارة الرسمية للرئيس رجب طيب أردوغان رئيس جمهورية تركيا إلى جمهورية مصر العربية على رأس وفد رفيع المستوى من كبار رجال الأعمال الأتراك.

Chairman of Mitchell Jr Group for Shipping, Chairman of the Egyptian–Turkish Business Council, and Board Member of the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association, participated in the Egypt–Turkey Business Forum, held under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

He delivered a keynote address during the opening session of the forum, which took place in Cairo yesterday evening, coinciding with the official visit of H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, to the Arab Republic of Egypt, leading a high-level delegation of prominent Turkish business leaders.

In his address, he highlighted the significant progress achieved by Egypt in national infrastructure development projects, including the New Administrative Capital, the Suez Canal Economic Zones, industrial zones, road networks, transportation systems, and railways, in addition to the development of maritime and land ports. He noted that East Port Said Port achieved an advanced global ranking by securing second place worldwide this year.

The address concluded by reaffirming the depth of Egyptian–Turkish relations and the strong prospects for the next phase, which is expected to witness enhanced partnership and integration, supported by the shared political will of the leaderships of both countries.
