🇪🇬 Honest Review: Jaz Elite Casa Del Mar Beach, Hurghada

If you’re looking for a modern all-inclusive resort in Hurghada with a great location, beautiful pools, and easy Red Sea beach access, Jaz Casa Del Mar Beach is definitely one to consider.

The hotel stands out for its clean and modern rooms, relaxing atmosphere, heated pools, and very good buffet quality — especially the roast lamb and fresh orange juice at Palmira restaurant. The location is also a big advantage, right on the Hurghada Touristic Promenade and only minutes from the airport.

The reception team was welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, and the entertainment programme added a lively touch in the evenings with music and cultural shows.

That said, there were also a few downsides worth mentioning. Service can sometimes feel inconsistent depending on the staff member, WiFi speeds are not ideal, and there can occasionally be noise from the nearby aqua park. Vegetarian and vegan options could also be improved.

Overall, Jaz Casa Del Mar Beach offers a comfortable Hurghada holiday experience with good facilities, family-friendly vibes, and competitive all-inclusive value when booked at the right price.

El Karma Hotel Hurghada – What to Expect Before You Book 🏖️

If you’re considering a stay at El Karma Hotel in Hurghada, this honest guest review might help you decide before confirming your booking.

👎 “The worst holiday I have ever had…” - that’s how one recent traveller described their experience at El Karma.

Here’s what they reported:

🔧 In need of major refurbishment - Rooms were described as grubby, with smelly mattresses and leaking pipes in the bathroom. Despite two maintenance visits, the problem wasn’t resolved.

🛏️ Low standards of cleanliness - Tablecloths in the restaurant were dirty and not changed between guests, and at times, cutlery was hard to come by.

🥵 Unreliable air conditioning in public areas, making the lobby space uncomfortable.

✅ Beste Geldautomaten (ATMs) in Ägypten nutzen:
1. Banque Misr, HSBC, QNB und CIB – zuverlässig und weit verbreitet.
2. HSBC Egypt funktioniert gut mit internationalen Karten und hat oft geringere Gebühren.
3. QNB & Banque Misr bieten meist höhere Abhebelimits (bis zu 4000–6000 EGP).
4. Vermeide Euronet-Automaten – sie verlangen hohe Gebühren und bieten schlechte Wechselkurse.

🇪🇬 Voyager en Égypte en août ? Voici ce qu’il faut savoir avant de faire vos valises ! ☀️🔥

Le mois d’août en Égypte est très chaud, mais reste une période prisée pour les vacances d’été, surtout si vous aimez le soleil et la mer :

🌡️ Températures élevées : entre 34°C et 40°C au Caire, à Louxor ou à Assouan, un peu plus doux à Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh et Marsā ʿAlam grâce à la brise marine.
🌊 Mer Rouge idéale : eau entre 28°C et 30°C, parfaite pour le snorkeling, la plongée ou juste se détendre dans une eau turquoise.
👙 Privilégiez les hôtels avec plage privée, piscines bien ombragées et climatisation efficace pour rester au frais !
📸 C’est aussi une bonne période pour visiter les sites historiques tôt le matin ou en fin de journée, avec peu de touristes.

🚖 Egypt Travel Tip: Is Uber & Careem Still Reliable in 2025? 🇪🇬✈️

Hi travellers! Just returned from my third trip to Egypt, and I wanted to share something important with anyone planning to visit — especially around Cairo, Hurghada, Luxor or Sharm El Sheikh.

🛑 Apps like Uber and Careem are not as reliable as they once were. During my recent visit:
• Drivers would accept the booking, then message asking for more money 💸
• Some drivers accepted and never showed up
• Others asked to cancel and “deal in cash” outside the app

✅ InDrive turned out to be a much better option. I had honest drivers, smooth rides, and no hidden fees or dodgy behaviour. You agree the fare upfront, and it’s clear and transparent. Highly recommended if you want a stress-free ride in Egypt.
