فرح أكرم، مهندسة معمارية، مدربة غوص ترفيهى و عضو مؤسس بمجموعة i-DiVE TRIBE المصرية المعنية بحماية البيئة البحرية
Farah Akram, Architect, Recreational Dive Instructor & Founding Member of the Egyptian i-DiVE TRIBE, to Protect the Marine ِِEnvironment
فرح أكرم معيدة بكلية الهندسة قسم عمارة، وغواصة أعماق تقنيه (تكنيكال). أنهت الـ dive master و ال trimix diver وهي فى سن الثامنة عشر، وبعدها بعام أنهت دورة إعداد مدرب غوص ترفيهى، لتصبح من أصغر مدربات الغوص المصريات في ذلك الوقت.
مدربة تخصصات مختلفة فى الغوص مثل الغوص المنفرد والاعتماد على النفس وغوص التثبيت الجانبي والغوص الليلي والغوص العميق، ومدربة اسعافات اولية. غاصت لعمق 153 متر داخل البلوهول (الثقب الأزرق في دهب) و تعتبر صاحبة أعمق رقم لبنت مصريه على مستوى الشرق الأوسط للغوص بداخل البلوهول إلى الآن.
Farah Akram is architecture teaching assistant at the Faculty of Engineering and a technical deep diver. She completed the dive master and trimix diver courses at the age of 18. A year later, she completed the recreational diving instructor course, to become one of the youngest Egyptian female instructors at that time.
She is a self-reliant diver instructor. She’s also an instructor of side-mount diving, night diving, deep diving, and first aid. She dove to a depth of 153 meters inside the Blue Hole, and holds the record for the deepest dive in the Blue Hole by an Egyptian girl in the Middle East to date. ��
لاهتمامها الكبير بحماية البيئة، شاركت فرح في عمليات تنظيف تحت الماء وعمليات إنقاذ السلاحف البحرية وغيرها من الحيوانات البرية المهددة بالانقراض. شاركت في حملات توعية بيئية مختلفة منها الحفاظ على الحياة البحرية في البحر الأحمر وخاصة أسماك القرش؛ حملة التخلص من البلاستيك المستخدم لمرة واحدة وحملة التنظيف تحت الماء لنهر النيل.
An avid environmentalist, Farah participated in underwater cleaning operations and rescue operations for sea turtles and other wild endangered animals. She participated in various environmental awareness campaigns including preserving the marine life in the Red Sea, especially the sharks; the single-use plastic disposal campaign and the River Nile underwater cleaning campaign.
شاركت فى إنشاء وإنزال متحف للتماثيل تحت الماء للحفاظ على الحياة البحرية والتنشيط السياحي في مدينة دهب بجنوب سيناء. وهي عضوة أساسية فى تنظيم يوم البيئة العالمى بمصر منذ إنشاءه عام ٢٠١٤. كذلك هي عضوة مؤسسة فى فريق ازاله الشباك المهملة تحت الماء.
تعيش فرح بين القاهرة ودهب. بالإضافة إلى عملها كمعيدة بكلية المهندسة، في أيضا تحاضر في الأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري، القرية الذكية. وهي أيضًا مهندسة معمارية ممارسة للمهنة.
Farah co-created an underwater museum and installed sculptures to preserve marine life and promote tourism in Dahab, South Sinai.��� A key organizer of the World Environment Day in Egypt since its inception in 2014, Farah is also a founding member of the Sea Shepherd Ghost Net Removal Team in Egypt.
Farah lives between Cairo and Dahab. In addition to her job as TA, she also teaches at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, Smart Village Campus. She is also a practicing architect.
