Minister of Civil Aviation Honors Two Employees from Aviation Information Technology Company (AVIT) on Labor Day

As part of the Labor Day celebrations and in recognition of outstanding efforts, Dr. Sameh El Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, honored two distinguished employees from the Aviation Information Technology Company for their dedication and commitment to their work.

Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Aziz – General Department of Human Resources

Ms. Hadeel Sayed Ismail Hassan – General Department of Financial Affairs

During the ceremony, Dr. El Hefny praised the vital role that aviation sector employees play, stressing that dedication and loyalty are the driving forces behind the Ministry's recognition of such exemplary individuals, who are considered a cornerstone in the development of the civil aviation system.

As part of the official delegation accompanying Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Eng. Aiman Fawzi Arab, Chairman of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, Eng. Hesham Elsaid Chairman &CEO of Aviation Information Technology Company (AVIT), participated in the second and third days of the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS).

The second day focused on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in advancing the aviation sector. Discussions explored the integration of AI technologies to enhance air traffic management efficiency, mitigate congestion at airports and within airspace, and optimize overall operational performance. The sessions also addressed the critical balance between technological innovation, data privacy protection, and cybersecurity challenges.

On the third day, the focus shifted to aviation sustainability. The sessions covered strategies for scaling up the financing, production, and adoption of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to promote an environmentally friendly and more efficient air transport industry. The day also included a matchmaking session that brought together key industry stakeholders to share insights and collaborate on promoting sustainability initiatives under the theme “Connecting for Sustainable Skies.”

الطيار وائل النشار رئيسا للمصرية للمطارات
والمهندس هشام السعيد رئيسا ل " AVIT "

اصدر المهندس أيمن فوزي عرب رئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب التنفيذي للشركة المصرية القابضة للمطارات والملاحة الجوية قرارا بتكليف الطيار وائل النشار للقيام بأعمال رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة المصرية للمطارات، كما أصدر قرارا بتكليف المهندس هشام السعيد للقيام بأعمال رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة تكنولوجيا معلومات الطيران "AVIT". وذلك لحين انعقاد الجمعية العمومية لكل من الشركتين، متمنيا لهما التوفيق والسداد في استكمال مسيرة التطوير والتحديث بمنظومة المطارات المصرية.

كما قدم المهندس أيمن عرب الشكر لكل من الطيار أحمد منصور والمهندس احمد عبد الحميد خلال فترة توليهما رئاسة الشركة المصرية للمطارات وشركة تكنولوجيا معلومات الطيران " AVIT".
