زيارة رسمية رفيعة المستوى من وفد المنظمة الكشفية العالمية إلى مقر الاتحاد العام للكشافة والمرشدات
في إطار تعزيز الشراكة والتعاون بين المنظمة الكشفية العالمية والاتحاد العام للكشافة والمرشدات بجمهورية مصر العربية، استقبل الاتحاد بمقره الرئيسي وفدًا رفيع المستوى من المنظمة العالمية للحركة الكشفية، برئاسة السيد ديفيد بيرج – الأمين العام الجديد للمنظمة العالمية، وبمشاركة الدكتور هاني عبد المنعم – المدير الإقليمي للمنظمة الكشفية العربية، إلى جانب عدد من مديري الأقاليم الكشفية العالمية والمديرين العالميين بالمنظمة.
وقد عقد الوفد اجتماعًا موسعًا مع مجلس إدارة الاتحاد العام، تم خلاله استعراض الدور الريادي الذي اضطلعت به مصر في استضافة وتنظيم المؤتمر الكشفي العالمي الأخير، وما أفرزته هذه التجربة من نقلة نوعية في بناء قدرات القادة والكشافة المصريين، وتعزيز مكانة الاتحاد على الساحة الكشفية الدولية.
كما تناولت المناقشات سبل تعزيز أوجه التعاون بين الجانبين، بما يشمل برامج الدعم الفني والتدريب المؤسسي، وتوسيع فرص التمثيل والمشاركة المصرية في المبادرات العالمية، فضلاً عن بحث إدماج مفاهيم إدارة الأزمات والكوارث ضمن المناهج التربوية الكشفية، والتأكيد على دور المهارات الكشفية الأساسية كركيزة لبناء الشخصية القيادية والمسؤولة.
تعكس هذه الزيارة تقدير المنظمة الكشفية العالمية للدور المتنامي للاتحاد العام للكشافة والمرشدات في دعم الحركة الكشفية عالميًا، وتمثل خطوة استراتيجية نحو تطوير التعاون المشترك وتحقيق أهداف الحركة الكشفية في بناء السلام والمواطنة والتنمية المستدامة.

High-Level Visit by the World Organization of the Scout Movement Senior management team to the Egyptian Scout Federation Headquarters
As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the Egyptian Scout Federation, the Federation had the honour of welcoming a high-level delegation from WOSM to its headquarters in Cairo.
The delegation was led by Mr. David Berg, the newly appointed Secretary General of WOSM, and included Dr. Hany Abdel Moneim, Regional Director of the Arab Scout Region, along with a number of global directors and regional directors from various WOSM regions and bureau.
During the official meeting with the Board of the Egyptian Scout Federation, discussions focused on Egypt’s distinguished role in hosting and organizing the recent World Scout Conference, which served as a pivotal platform for building the capacities of Egyptian Scout leaders and elevating the Federation’s global presence.
The dialogue also explored avenues for enhanced cooperation, including technical support, capacity building programmes, and expanding Egypt’s participation in global scouting initiatives. A key topic of discussion was the integration of crisis and disaster management concepts into the Scout educational curriculum, alongside reaffirming the importance of core Scouting skills in shaping responsible, resilient youth leaders.
This high-level visit reflects the World Scout Organization’s appreciation for Egypt’s growing influence in global Scouting, and marks an important step towards deepening strategic partnerships in support of the movement’s mission for peace, citizenship, and sustainable development.
