King Tutankhamun's wreath / coming soon to the Grand Egyptian Museum

This wreath or royal headband was found inside a gap in the wall of the tomb
This wreath was made to be worn over wigs.
It consists of a gold ribbon decorated with fifteen flowers and a cobra snake. It is also inlaid with red carnelian, lapis lazuli, and blue glass paste.
The gold ribbons at the top of the wreath give the shape of the two high feathers characteristic of the headscarves of kings
The moving pieces on the sides of the face and on the back of the neck resemble decorative ribbons placed on wreaths.
🦅The symbols of Upper and Lower Egypt were placed on the front of the crown: Nekhbet (female eagle), representing Upper Egypt, and Wajet (Alquira), representing the Delta.
🦅I made the eyes of Nekhbet from obsidian and the taste of the head of Wajit with semi-precious stones and glass.
As for the papyrus flowers on the sides, they were made of malachite (an impure stone), while the knot in the back was made of white agate.

The diameter of the wreath is 20 cm
