Milmar Shipping offers a wide range of maritime and logistics services. Milmar Shipping was established in 1976 by Mr.

Milad Abousaif, a renowned shipping figure in Alexandria. Since its founding, it helped move millions of tons of cargo, in the form of containers and break-bulk, between Egypt and international sea ports. The company has acted as an agent of many shipping lines including Lykes Lines, DSR, Senator Lines, Spliethoff, amongst others. Over the past 40 years, Milmar has handled many of Egypt’s largest

projects; acting as agents for vessels, overseeing load/discharge and providing river and land transportation of cargo to project sites. We have handled the heaviest lifts in the industry such as power plants, telephone cable projects, sewer ductile tubes, airports and their equipment, military cargo, etc. Milmar employs about 60 highly-skilled experienced employees in Alexandria, Port Said and Damietta. They are chosen from amongst university graduates who possess a good command of English and relevant training in the field of logistics. Most of our top-management has been working with our company for over 15 years, which reflects our dedication towards retaining the best people in business. Milmar is a family-owned business, and the top-management consists of family members.
