We’re Hiring: Export Operations Specialist - Alexandria,Egypt

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Export Operations Specialist to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and coordination with shipping lines, clients, and service providers to ensure smooth and timely shipment ex*****on.

Key Responsibilities
•Handle all export operations procedures and documentation, including:
•Shipping declarations
•Booking confirmations
•Final shipping declarations
•Draft approvals
•Bill of Lading (BL) issuance
•Commercial invoice issuance
•Manage and coordinate bookings with various shipping lines.
•Review factory and trader documentation to ensure compliance with export customs clearance requirements according to the nature of goods.
•Conduct daily follow-ups with clients, overseas agents, and service providers, including:
•Trucking companies
•Customs brokers
•Relevant authorities
•Manage and process DAP and DDP shipments efficiently.
•Ensure accurate and timely data entry of shipment details into the company’s system.
Issue invoices to clients and agents in line with approved sales quotations.
•Verify the accuracy and authenticity of all operational and financial documents.
•Communicate shipment updates in a timely manner and build strong, professional client relationships.

Requirements & Qualifications
•Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding and export operations.
•Proven experience in export documentation and procedures.
•Solid knowledge of shipping lines, freight forwarding processes, and export regulations.
•Experience dealing with shipping lines and overseas agents is highly preferred.
•Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
•Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines efficiently.
•Faculty of Commerce (English Section / Customs Section) is highly preferred.
Alexandria,Egypt resident is required.

Working Conditions :
•Working hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
•Working days: 5 days per week
•Days off: Friday & Saturday
•Private health insurance

The project involved the transportation of 15 packages of steel structures from Alexandria, Egypt, to Trieste, Italy, utilizing Flat Rack containers in an FCL (Full Container Load) shipment. The cargo included both standard and out-of-gauge units, with a total shipment volume of approximately 1,050 CBM.

Projects involving oversized and irregular cargo require careful planning, accurate container selection, and close coordination throughout the transportation process. At First Global Logistics, our team works to ensure every shipment is managed with the attention and operational control needed for safe and efficient delivery.
