Täna algas päev eriti varajase äratusega – ees ootas praam Lofootidele. Viskasime asjad ratastele ja kihutasime sadamasse, et siis avastada: praam läheb 15 minutit varem kui kodulehel kirjas! 😅 Peale selle tuli end ka eelnevalt registreerida (millest me polnud kuulnudki), aga õnneks saime selle kiiresti tehtud ja meid lubati kenasti pardale.
3,5 tundi praamisõitu oli tegelikult täiuslik aeg, et lõpuks eilne video kokku panna ja hetkeks lihtsalt istuda. Aeg lendas ja enne kui arugi saime, paistsid juba lumised Lofootide tipud horisondil. ❄️🏔️
Siin on liiklus hoopis omamoodi – palju turiste, aeglaseid autosid, jalakäijaid ja rattureid. Liiklus voolab, aga omas tempos. Ilm vaheldub iga mäekurviga: ühel pool mõnus päike, teisel pool jahe tuulehoog. Vaated on see-eest vapustavad – valge liiv, sinine meri ja mäed taustaks. Justkui Norra oleks hetkeks Vahemereks muutunud... 🏖️

Today started with a very early wake-up – the ferry to the Lofoten Islands was waiting. We loaded the bikes and rushed to the harbor, only to find out the ferry was leaving 15 minutes earlier than listed! 😅 And apparently, you also had to pre-register – which we hadn’t done. Luckily, we managed to do that quickly, and they kindly let us board.
The 3.5-hour ferry ride turned out to be the perfect moment to edit yesterday’s video and just relax for a bit. Time flew, and before we knew it, the snowy Lofoten peaks were already on the horizon. ❄️🏔️
Traffic here is in its own rhythm – full of tourists, slow cars, pedestrians and cyclists. Everything moves, just a bit slower. The weather changes with every mountain curve: warm sun on one side, chilly breeze on the other. But the views… absolutely stunning. White sandy beaches, blue sea, and mountains in the background. Like Norway turned into the Mediterranean for a moment... 🏖️
