Our colleagues Aaron and Sebastian recently attended Pharma Day 2026 in Dreieich, near Frankfurt, where they joined industry experts and logistics professionals to discuss the evolving needs of pharmaceutical storage and transportation.

From conversations with existing customers and partners to meeting new contacts, the event offered valuable insights into global pharma logistics, air freight operations, and the increasing importance of reliable temperature-controlled storage.

Events like these are a great opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen relationships, and stay close to the challenges facing the industry.

Last weekend, Copenhagen was taken over by Distortion, one of Europe's most iconic street festivals.

And quietly, behind the scenes, our team was there too.

Cold drinks don't stay cold by accident. Neither do seamlessly delivered containers across multiple city locations, navigating road closures, rush hour traffic and tight urban logistics. That is exactly what our team pulled off for Distortion, delivering and repositioning containers across City Hall Square and Refshaleøen without disrupting the city for a single minute.

It is not the first time we have done this. For several years, Roskilde Festival, Denmark's biggest music event, trusted TITAN to keep food and drinks at the right temperature for over 130,000 visitors. And Royal Unibrew, one of Denmark's most respected brewery groups, has relied on us every festival season since 2015.

As Benjamin Schnefeldt from Royal Unibrew puts it:
"It doesn't matter where you order a refrigerated container for me as long as it is from TITAN. Because then I know it works."

Nazmi and Sebastian spent the day talking directly with bakery owners and decision-makers — not just exchanging business cards, but having real conversations about what their operations actually need.

Whether it's handling a seasonal peak, planning a conversion, or thinking ahead to a bigger renovation — cold storage challenges look different for every business.

Good to connect with both familiar faces and new ones.

This week, a delegation from West Africa visited our site in Taastrup to see ArcticStore up close — as part of a broader programme on agriculture, food value chains, and cold chain infrastructure organised through the Danish Embassy in Ghana.

The conversation wasn't really about the unit itself. It was about what happens without it.

Across much of West Africa, significant portions of harvests are lost not in the field, but afterwards — in transport, in storage, in the gap between production and market.

What stood out during the visit was the focus on practicality: flexible compartmentalisation, energy efficiency, deployment in locations where permanent infrastructure doesn't exist.

We're grateful to the delegation for making the trip and for the conversation.

Harvest season is approaching.

For winemakers across Europe, the planning starts now. And over the past decade, rising summer temperatures have made that planning more complex, grapes are ripening earlier, harvest windows are shifting, and the pressure to get it right is greater than ever.

The challenge is not just picking at the right moment. It is what happens next. Freshly harvested grapes held at the wrong temperature, even briefly, can lose aroma, quality and value.

Across European wine regions, we have seen more and more vineyards using refrigerated containers as a temperature-controlled buffer during harvest. A 4 to 6 week rental, positioned exactly where it is needed, can protect an entire vintage.

Today is World Environment Day.

And while conversations turn to carbon and renewables, one infrastructure gap rarely gets the attention it deserves.

Cold storage.

The UN FAO estimates that one third of all food produced globally is lost or wasted every year. A significant share of those losses happen not because of how food is grown, but because of what happens after harvest. Inadequate cold storage means produce spoils before it ever reaches a consumer.

The solution already exists. Scalable, flexible cold storage, deployed where and when it is needed, can dramatically reduce post-harvest losses and protect the value of food that took land, water and labour to produce.

At TITAN, this is what we think about when we talk about storage infrastructure. Not just keeping products cold. Safeguarding what the world worked hard to grow.
