We sold everything we own to travel through Europe in our campervan with 4 kids and a puppy!

Today we celebrate our 100th day of travel!! We are close to crossing the border into Norway, but first we wanted to share these moments from our time at a viking museum in Denmark 🇩🇰 it was so amazing to see how they build the enormous longhouse and entire little villages all like the old days. Very interesting and absolutely worth the visit
During the summer time there are many modern families that come there to live like in old times, all dressed like vikings and village people. We loved it!

We took the ferry to Denmark! 🇩🇰 this was the first time the kids were on such a big boat and it was a very cool experience. It was a short trip, just 45 minutes but there was enough time for them to explore the ship en enjoy the moment. It is always special to witness the kids when they experience new things, I love it. Super proud of our exploring team 🥰
Once we were off the boat it was just a short drive to a small farm where we stayed for the night, we are starting to get pretty good at setting up the tents and all our equipment for the van. Everyone teams up and we are set in about 15 minutes 💪🏼 there is still a bit of unfinished mess in the back, but it works for us!
PS we get so many people asking us questions about the van and the way it is setup! Even people taking pictures 😬 Perhaps we should do a little tour and show how things are set up?

We made it to Germany! Our first night back on the road was spent at the most unique place we have been so far, it was at a farm. We were parked in a field next to the sheep, it was beautiful and quiet. But the unique thing about this place was the shed where they told us we could use the shower and toilet… from the outside it was just an ordinary barn, with big old doors that couldnt close.. but once you stepped inside it was not what you would expect! There were old chairs and couches that formed a living room, a kitchen type of setup, some type of swing set hanging from the beams, horses in the corner that you could pet, washing machines and then a pretty modern bathroom with a very big bathtub… we thought it was a bit like a place from an old story book, something you would see in a film.
The kids loved it, and to add to the magic of the place we had a massive thunder storm on our first night. Bonus points! Thanks for having us, now we are off to scandinavia 🤙🏼

A couple of sleepy heads peaking out of their rooftent! It is taking some adjusting for us but we are slowly reaching the point where our van is finished and ready for the next part of our journey!
We are making some final adjustments to the van here in the Netherlands and then we hope to be off to Sweden sometime this coming week 🎉

Okay it just looks amazing right? For our family of 6 it’s to small, we just don’t fit. If you have a family of 3, 4 or 5 then this van could be awesome for you! And yes it’s for sale! Sent us a message if you are interested 🚐🥳

We have been quite busy since we are back in the Netherlands for a wedding, and building our new van! Next week we leave again to go and explore Norway and Sweden! Stay tuned 🥳📸🚐 and we will explain everything hahaha

Moody days in the Pyrenees, we will go for a warmer climate anytime soon 😅. It’s beautiful, but cold, wet and the campervan is filled with dirt haha. Let’s chase the sun again ☀️

We arrived at the Pyrenees! Wow these mountains are majestic!! We are only at 1600m but we got some awesome hiking trails again! Bluey and Evelyn loved it 🐶👧🏼
