Do you prefer short cruises or long cruises? And why?

Personally, I love a quick weekend cruise. It’s the perfect little reset. I can still work during the week and sneak away for a few days at sea. There’s just something about stepping onboard, unplugging, and letting the ocean do its thing. 🌊

But every once in a while… I love a 2–3 week cruise where you really settle into ship life. That’s when cruising becomes something totally different. You get to know the crew, recognize familiar faces around the ship, and it starts to feel like your floating home. This is especially true in yacht club. The room stewards really become like family. Every time we cruise we find a new favorite crew member.
