Our ferry King Seaways connects Amsterdam-Newcastle on a 17-hour voyage ⏰

Deep below deck, Second Engineer Andreas Albæk Christensen keeps the heart of the ship beating ⚙️

Together with the rest of the engine room team, he prepares the engine room for arrival and departure, troubleshoot faults, do repairs and keeps the machinery operating safely.

All with one goal in mind: Making sure every crossing runs smoothly 👏🏼

This World Safety Day, we’re focusing on psychological wellbeing. We believe a workplace can only be safe if every individual feels empowered to speak up, particularly in complex operational environments on land and at sea 💬 

Mistakes happen. What’s important is that we learn from them 💡 We believe that voicing concerns is crucial in building stronger, more resilient teams – and safe operations.  
 
Our people remain the core of our safety culture. It’s their dedication and commitment to safety that ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day 🙋🏽‍♂️
