Don’t get me wrong…

Denmark is offering many things on the plate that can make you find your happy space.
So if you want to move here, go for it and try nordic life!!!

The system is working well, but this doesn’t necessarily means that you will find your happiness here.

Happiness is such a personal thing that we cannot associate this to a country. Ranking is a thing… but there are way too many factors to consider in the full package of happiness, and it might differ in different moments of life.

Living here is offering challenges as well, so be realistic and think on what are your needs and wishes right now and just allow yourself to change needs as well in time 🤍

Three months in South America and six months in Asia, across 10 different countries.
This was our way to spend our two parental leaves abroad with our daughters as a growing family 🇩🇰

Here was Koh Mak, Thailand. We had the cutest cabin with beach front and really few people (low season was starting).
Love the simple days we had around

Bangkok markets were absolutely insane

No need to explain what the beach, the ocean and the warm was bringing to our days 🙏🏻

We feel together we are stronger 🤍
Despite finding space from each other was also a challenge sometimes and we had to work on it

We love challenges :))

This photo was taken on a bus ride of 7 hours during a rain shower from Trat to Bangkok. Don’t know how we survived, the driver was CRAZY.

Travel is our first priority 🙏🏻

Three languages, one very “normal” afternoon 🤯🧠

Casper speaks Danish with the girls, I speak Italian with them, and we speak English together.
All three find their way into a little fishing game.

There are misunderstandings, moments when everything clicks and switches between languages that we barely notice anymore.
Our oldest, now three, is already finding her own way between them. Plus she manage all three languages with the little sis depending on place and scenario. So excited to see how they will develop in this!!! 🥲

I love watching how our minds make room for different words, sounds and ways of expressing themselves into everyday life.

This is a special gift: multilingualism 🇮🇹🇩🇰🇬🇧

It took time to learn how to put boundaries that sticks but it was my priority taking time for it.

Danes have a saying: “der findes ikke dårligt vejr, kun dårligt tøj” (there is no bad weather, only bad clothes)

It sounds like a joke. But it’s actually how Danish kids are raised. Daycares go outside every day, rain or not, and the kids stop noticing the weather long before the adults do (ok maybe not our half Italian kids haha lol)

What we never leave home without in this season:
🇩🇰 Rain suit (“regntøj”) over everything
🇩🇰 Wool next to the skin, never cotton
🇩🇰 Rubber boots one size up for fitting wool socks
