This year on , our Danish colleagues once again filled the office with team colors, smiles, and a shared purpose - standing together in support of children fighting cancer. 🎗️⚽

The initiative, led by Børnecancerfonden, brings people across Denmark together each March to create hope, raise awareness, and fund vital research and support for families navigating incredibly difficult journeys. Behind every football shirt is a reminder that no child or family should face cancer alone.

By taking part, whether by wearing a jersey, donating, or simply starting a conversation, we help shine a light on a cause that truly matters. Small actions, when multiplied, can make a meaningful difference. 💛

This week in our Sweden office, we had a great excuse to pause for a few minutes between emails, bookings, and shipments - Fettisdagen 😊

Our colleagues introduced us to the traditional “semla,” a sweet treat enjoyed on this day. Historically, it marked the last opportunity to enjoy rich foods before the 40-day fast leading up to Easter.

Even in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment, it’s important to take a moment to connect as a team. Small breaks like these help keep the energy up - and this one was definitely worth it.

👥 Connecting Beyond the Office 🤝

In January, all staff in Strait Air Denmark, gathered in Copenhagen for our 2026 kick-off, bringing everyone together for a day centered on connection, collaboration, and shared direction 🚀 .

While the daytime sessions helped align us on the year ahead, the highlight for many was the social team-building activity in the evening 🍝 🧑‍🍳 . We came together at the renowned cooking school led by Timm Vladimir, where the team worked hands-on to prepare a four-course Italian dinner 🇮🇹 .

Working in pairs and guided by a professional chef, colleagues stepped into new roles, supported one another, and shared plenty of laughter along the way. The experience was a great reminder that strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork extend far beyond the office 🧩.

Overall, it was a memorable and energizing experience that brought us closer together as a team - a fantastic way to kick off the year and strengthen the bonds that help us succeed together 🌟 .

Lasse brings 25 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a strong focus on airfreight. Over the years, he has managed a wide range of shipments, from live animals and temperature-sensitive cargo to developing Sea/Air setups for major textile importers.

Based at our Odense office, Lasse supports customers nationwide. He is highly customer-oriented and dedicated to finding the right solution for every request.
