But then the call came: “Winfried, we’ve got something new. Something we’d like to entrust to you.” Now he’s back, standing in front of the shiny, whisper-quiet electric truck. Instead of the stench of diesel, there’s high-tech; instead of the roar of an engine, just a gentle hum. When he pressed the “power pedal” for the first time and unleashed the full power silently, he was impressed. “It drives like a spaceship,” he grins from the cockpit. Winfried is back—one of our most experienced truckers is now showing us how to steer into the future with Heisterkamp."
