Two massive columns.
One precise mission.

Our customer RIGA MAINZ recently completed two consecutive heavy transport operations in Kleve, moving massive process columns from the manufacturing plant to the RoRo ramp on the Rhine using SCHEUERLE SPMTs.

The first column weighed 451 tonnes.
The second followed with another 389 tonnes.
Over a distance of 8.8 km, the transport combinations had to navigate tight inner-city sections, intersections and narrow clearances before being precisely positioned onto the pontoon at the Rhine ramp.

Equipment used:
• 2 x 10 axle lines + turntable + 2 x PPU Z350
• 2 x 6 axle lines + turntable + 1 x PPU Z180

Projects like this demonstrate what SPMTs are built for: combining extreme payloads with maximum manoeuvrability and precise control, even under the tightest infrastructure conditions.

🏭Built for EAF conditions.

In electric arc furnace steelmaking, slag handling faces different challenges. The use of scrap as the primary input material leads to a changed slag composition, while the EAF process itself generates higher slag volumes with every melting cycle compared to conventional steelmaking routes.
These modified conditions place increased demands on slag transport – in terms of capacity, durability and operational reliability. To meet these requirements, TII KAMAG has a purpose‑built Slag Pot Carrier for EAF operations.
This transporter handles a payload of 150 t, corresponding to a slag volume of approximately 45 m³. A robust logistics solution tailored to real process requirements.
