With our Pic4Pass app, you can quickly and easily create ICAO-compliant biometric images for ID cards or passports, all from the comfort of your own home and completely for free.

Simply upload an image or take one with your web cam or smartphone camera. Our software will then analyze the photo's ICAO compliance and create a cropped image of the correct size, depending on the country for which the photo is required.

All you need to do is download the photo and print it yourself, and you're ready to renew your ID card.

Data privacy and GDPR are a central element of the BioID Web Service. For enrollment, we transfer a person's photos into a binary representation of their face. The original images are deleted right after. The binary code is called a template. It cannot be transferred back to the original images or extracted from the BioID Web Service. Your template is stored without any other personal data. Thus, BioID does not know whom we recognize. We simply carry out a matching of stored and freshly incoming binary codes.
