A Belgian study that followed 106 speed e-bike commuters found:

⏱ Time predictability is of great importance to them
🧠 They arrive in the office with a clear head
🚴 They loved the exercise element of riding 15-30km daily

“This study shows the key role speed pedelecs can make to the future of commuting” says LEVA-EU manager Annick Roetynck.

LEVA-EU has urged the European Commission not to waste time on reclassififying speed pedelecs as it is harming the light electric vehicle industry.

Tonight, we will turn the clocks to winter time again 🕑

With it comes a unique set of weather conditions that all riders should be prepared for. Here are the top safety precautions that should be taken when riding this fall:

1️⃣ Use caution on wet, slippery surfaces 🍂
Slow down while riding and allow extra time for braking. Be mindful of puddles, ice and wet, metal surfaces.

2️⃣ Stay visible 🔆
Wear bright, reflective outer layers and plan your route to follow well-lit streets. Don’t assume cars can see you.

3️⃣ Dress appropriately for the ride and the weather 🧤
Wear gloves to keep your hands warm and responsive for braking. Also wear the helmet provided for your safety.

Did you know all BOND e-bikes are equipped with very strong front and rear-facing lights to make you visible?
