Butterbird is known for their fried chicken, and oooooo we loved it! They have lots of chicken options but also other goodies and soft serve for dessert. The vibe is fun and you can visit the photo booth before you leave!

📍Indigo Ridge Lavender Farm | Black Earth

Be sure to keep this lavender farm on your radar for next summer! Today was the last day to pick and cut your own lavender and we did so while overlooking the bluffs of the Wisconsin River. Sitting in a field of lavender was such a calming and joyful experience.

This one takes a bit of planning to get to from Wisconsin, but if you are in Bavaria Augustiner Keller is a MUST. Incredible atmosphere, the BEST beer, and wonderful food. Spend an evening or two under the chestnut trees.
