As the days on our 2025 Go (to) West(ern) Europe continue to dwindle, yesterday Wednesday September 24, a very rainy day and evening, we visited the Alte (old) Museum in Munich during the day and a rooftop bar in the evening.

Yesterday Tuesday September 23, we visited the Deutsche Museum which focused on a variety of technology topics. Of most interest was their exhibit on space programs.

Yesterday, Tuesday September 22, we enjoyed visiting Octoberfest in Munich and meeting up with Raleigh friend Rasmi Chang Bacon and new friends, Josh, Jenny, and Lisa!

Yesterday Sunday September 21 we took the train from Berlin to Munich!

Yesterday Saturday September 20 we toured the Berlin city art museum also known as the Gemeldegalerie or picture gallery.

So yesterday Friday August 19 we took both a hop on hop off bus tour of Berlin and also a boat tour of Berlin. The highlight was that on the bus tour we drove past a couple of different places where different pieces of the Berlin Wall still stand. Interestingly the longest piece that we saw of the wall is decorated with ekaborate graffiti while another shorter piece is not decorated as elaborately.

Yesterday Thursday September 18 went from the ancient to the 20th century to a contemporary discount store as we visited the Altes antiquities museum during the day and had dinner in the rotating restaurant in the historic tv tower in the evening.
