🎭 From Cardiff to London: The Sound of Pride
Sound Designer Bobby Aitken has built the soundscape for Pride The Musical on Meyer Sound systems through sold-out runs at Cardiff’s Sherman Theatre and the National Theatre’s Dorfman Theatre. As the hit musical moves to London’s Bridge Theatre, where previews begin Nov. 12, he is reshaping that design for its third home this year.

Based on the 2014 film, “Pride” tells the true story of Le****ns and G**s Support the Miners, a group of London activists who raised money for a South Wales mining village during the 1984-85 miners’ strike. The original score by Christopher Nightingale, Josh Cohen, and DJ Walde ranges from pop and rock to protest songs.

💫 Meyer Sound Brings NADIA Platform to National Sawdust
On a single night at National Sawdust, a program might feature eight composers with eight sonic setups, each asking something different of the room. One piece might send playback tracks moving around the audience; the next might call for the spacious acoustic of a cathedral; the one after that a tight, controlled room for a rock band.

This summer, the Brooklyn venue upgraded the Meyer Sound Constellation system behind those shifts, moving from D-Mitri to NADIA processing and adding a Galileo GALAXY 816 Network Platform as part of a renewed partnership. “When we released NADIA, we said, National Sawdust is our benchmark venue for spatial audio integrated with active acoustics,” says Meyer Sound’s Director, Spatial Sound, Steve Ellison. “They need to be on our benchmark platform.”

🎶 One Stadium. One Sound. One Unforgettable Concert with Maroon 5 in Lima.
Maroon 5 brought their tour to Lima, Peru, performing to a sold-out crowd at Estadio Nacional de Lima with a Meyer Sound system deployed by DBLUX SAC.

The system featured PANTHER line array loudspeakers paired with 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements, delivering consistent full-range coverage and controlled low-frequency energy across the venue. ULTRA-X40 loudspeakers were deployed as front fills to maintain clarity for audiences closest to the stage.

Designed for the demands of a large-scale touring production, the system provided a cohesive experience from the front of the audience through the far reaches of the venue.

🎶 Two Stages. One Sound. One Epic Weekend!
The Víz Zene Virág Festival once again brought music lovers to the beautiful lakeside town of Tata, Hungary, welcoming 8,000-10,000 visitors per day for a weekend of live music and celebration.

This year's edition marked an exciting step forward for our partner Meteor Sound & Light, who expanded the sound reinforcement from the Main Stage to the festival's Rock Stage as well. Audiences enjoyed performances from some of Hungary's best-known artists, including Demjén Ferenc, Korda György & Balázs Klári, Halott Pénz, Desh, Bagossy Brothers Company, Dánielfy, ByeAlex és a Slepp, Parno Graszt, Ossian, Leander Kills, Road, AWS and Bikini.

The Main Stage featured a Meyer Sound system comprising 24 MILO loudspeakers, 16 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements, 6 M’elodie line array loudspeakers, 2 UPA-1P loudspeakers, 6 MJF-212A stage monitors, and 2 Galileo GALAXY 816 network platforms. On the festival's Rock Stage, 16 MICA loudspeakers, 14 700-HP subwoofers, 2 UPA-1P loudspeakers, and a Galileo GALAXY 616 network platform delivered consistent coverage and clarity throughout the weekend.
