𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀

After nearly 30 years of service in the Air Force and 1,176 duty days flying our African operations, Captain Srecko “Lucky” has officially flown his final mission.

Known for his calmness, his trademark beard, and that reassuring “I’ve seen worse” smile, Lucky was more than a captain he was an aviation father, mentor, and friend. A leader who never raised his voice, always shared his wisdom, and somehow kept the entire team together.

From dusty runways to his very last landing, where the ramp filled with people coming out just to salute him, Lucky always showed us what true professionalism, kindness, and leadership look like.

Lucky, you’re now rated but retired, you´ve been upgraded to sleeping in, enjoying rakia in peace, and reminding us how things were done “back in the day.”

Thank you for the hours, the lessons, the laughs, and the friendship.
You’ve earned every minute of this next chapter.
